It is normally the shooter who celebrates a score of 100 ex 100.
On 11 November 2011 it was the Club.
Last year, the Colbury Rifle and Pistol Club celebrated its Centenary.
The main event was the national postal short-range prone smallbore competition. We attracted 292 competitors from 57 clubs across the UK, from Orkney to Jersey and Cornwall to Essex. Even six Gurkhas, shooting with the Abergavenny club, entered.
The email address colburyrpc@yahoo.co.uk was hacked yesterday and a spurious message sent out. Subject “Hi”, claiming we are stuck in Spain w/o funds.
Stage One of our competition is now over. The final few clubs are returning their cards and then the marking will begin. We intend to mark the cards the week after Bisley.
Nestling in the woods on the eastern edge of the New Forest, the Colbury Rifle and Pistol Club is celebrating its Centenary this year.
